Dan wilson

Dan has been a professional investment manager & derivatives trader in Australia and the UK for over 16 years successfully trading through a range of market cycles whilst at times managing some of the largest option positions in the market.

 

He was a founding equity partner & executive director in the boutique fund manager, Denning Pryce and worked hard to help establish the firm as a specialist investment manager with 5 star ratings from asset consultants and ratings agencies. In particular he led the development of a strategic joint venture with Zurich Investments and helped create the highly successful Zurich Investments Equity Income Fund which has raised over $800 million dollars from investors to date.

 

Whilst moving on to establish his own firm in London he remains a non executive director of Denning Pryce and continues to consult on new funds and strategic deals. He’s been the key speaker on investment and risk strategies at numerous events for investment professionals, many in major cities hosted by Zurich.

 

Dan previously served as an army officer after attending The Royal Military College, Duntroon, where he was awarded the military skills and the field training prize on graduation. He went on to command a specialist reconnaissance and sniper platoon in an infantry battalion. After completing full time service he was a member of the Army Ready Reserve.

 

Dan has a Degree in Finance and Economics from Bond. He was a gold medal winner in the rugby sevens at the Australian University Games and was president of the university ski team. He also holds a Graduate Diploma in Global Studies from UNITAR and is a Trustee of the Northern Lights Symphony Orchestra in London.

 

 

Mark badger

Mark Badger is a senior lawyer with over 16 years experience in banking and investment businesses. He was previously the Head of Legal for Global Wholesale Banking for Standard Chartered Bank, one of the worlds largest banks and a member of the London FTSE top 20 companies by market capitalisation.

 

Throughout his career he has been based in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore and Sydney representing world class organisations such as US Investment Bank, JP Morgan Chase and number 1 ranked Global Law Firm, Clifford Chance.

 

He has regulatory and transactional experience in commodities, E-commerce, principal finance, structured products, asset sales, debt and equity markets.  He has successfully led large diverse teams of legal professionals & non-legal infrastructure teams supporting a variety of highly competitive business lines, geographies, cutting-edge markets, and fast-paced environments.

 

Mark is also a Director of  The Edgeview Group and is a highly sought after advisor to multiple business leaders in areas of strategic planning. He has previously studied at the prestigious INSEAD business school in France and holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Masters of Business Administration from Bond University.

dugald ross

Dugald is a highly experienced trader and fund manager  involved in equity and derivatives markets for over 20 years based in Australia, the UK and the Netherlands.

 

He began his career working on the floor of the Sydney Futures Exchange and went on to become one of the top equity options market makers on the ASX Derivatives floor. For 11 years he worked as a proprietary trader and market maker for JB Were, one of Australias oldest and most respected investment houses. During that time he traded a portfolio of options, equities and futures generating profits in every reporting period.

 

Since 2004 he has been independently establishing and working in the funds management arena. In 2006 he established Adina  Management (AFSL 306534). He continued to trade markets and help establish and advise a number of equity related funds management businesses and funds in Australia and overseas and was instrumental in developing the trading, operational and risk management procedures for these firms.

 

In 2008 he relocated to London when he was engaged by a US based Asset Manager to head up and advise its UK office. As manager he more than tripled the size of the UK business and led the team  in  setting up multiple British Virgin Islands and Irish UCITS III fund structures and products that were offered to investors globally. One of these was a ground breaking commodity fund that was the first of its kind. He was also a member of the senior investment committee advising on strategy, alternative investments and a global macro fund trading futures, foreign exchange and options. He has been registered with significant management functions under the UK regulator the FCA (previously FSA)

 

Dugald now consults throughout Europe, Australia and the UK to fund Managers who require expert advice on setting up, structuring and managing their business and investment strategy.
